White End Tables

If you are looking for furniture to round out your living room or family room but you don’t want the new furniture to compete with what you have, then white end tables may be the best bet for you. The color white can easily blend in with any décor whether you prefer modern, eclectic, contemporary or traditional. White tables can also be an elegant statement as white is perceived as difficult to maintain, to keep fresh. But in reality, white can be the easiest furniture color to clean as white end tables are typically made of more durable materials that are perfect for sponge washing and in some cases scrubbing.

Perhaps the best benefit of white is the association we make between white and the concepts of cleanliness, purity, freshness and renewal. White end tables are an ideal way to subtly enhance your living room and family room décor without breaking the bank. One pair of white end tables can change a traditional dark wood library to a vibrant post-modern library.

White end tables can be used throughout the house and can be used individually for creating an elevated surface on which to put a floral arrangement to create a warm, welcoming feeling or reading material for you and guests and even for dining purposes.

If you are like many families, you may have a meal or snack in front of the television from time-to-time or even as you are reading a book in your study. The elevated surface of the end table, yet petite footprint is an ideal combination of characteristics for such use. In your study, a white end table is likely to add a breath of fresh air and a place to place drinks and a sandwich as you work to create the “Great Novel,” it will inspire you. In the living room, white end tables can fill in the void often left by placing a chair or second sofa perpendicular to another sofa. That awkward corner space is under-utilized and subject to dust bunnies. If you have a set of end tables, you are more likely to dust before the dust bunnies form or you at least have some hiding room for the dust bunnies when guests come to visit. Placing end tables at the end of a sofa also serves to provide a resting place for drinks and snacks. Many tables have drawers and compartments which allow you to store items that are important to that room. For example, in our family room, the white end tables are where we store a few decks of cards, a blanket, the remote control for the fan and the remote controls for the television and Tivo. This way everyone in the household knows where to put the items when they are finished using them . . . that will not guarantee a clutter free household, but it does help. Heck, you might even be able to retrain your household!

White end tables represent a functional, beautiful addition to your home. With the significance of freshness, renewal, cleanliness, white can change your mood and who knows, maybe your destiny too.
