The great thing about a console table is that it can go just about anywhere and be used for any purpose. It may be just a plain flat top with four legs or it may have drawers fro storage. It may be plain and stark in design or very elaborate and ornate. The one feature common to every console table is that it looks slim and light. They can be placed to fill up an empty space in a room or be given a functional application like a phone stand or a TV table. There are very few rooms where a console table will not fit in, either just for decoration or as a piece of functional furniture.
