If you need accent tables but do not have a lot in the furniture budget, there are some interesting resources for finding them. First, you can find accent tables at thrift stores, antique shops and tag sales. Second, you can find these small tables at unlikely sources including the bargain stores. The quality of these tables is going to be low of course, but for a temporary fix they are not bad and can be dressed up with cloths and lace toppers that can be inexpensively changed every month if you would like. You might have so much fun dressing up your cheapie table that you won’t want to give it up when it is time to move up to real furniture.
